Luke’s account of the women at the empty tomb discovering Jesus has risen.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Alyson Kieda, AT THIS LINK   reported that her father loved to sing the song, In the Garden, the linked song rendered by Alan Jackson above, about the realization the women at the tomb had discovering that Jesus was indeed risen, and that our faith can have us walk in the garden of life with a risen Savior.  The song made her dad feel so much joy; and so, she had it sung at his funeral.

If you had been one of those women at the Tomb that first Easter morning, what would you have felt discovering that your Messiah was alive.  It would be going from grief to glory, wouldn’t it?  And I pray that all reading here can declare, as did Mary Magdalene to the disciples that morning that our Lord is risen indeed!!

Like I do, … do you believe our Lord is alive … just as Dolly Parton sings in the other linked song above?  Well, if we do, let’s share the excitement with others just like Mary did with the disciples on that first Easter morning.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, King Jesus, … for showing me - AND EVERYONE - that You conquered the grave on that first Easter morn.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … with a resounding HALLELUJAH … that our Messiah lives on high for us and will soon come for His Bride.  … Amen
