My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, John Blase … AT THIS LINK … related a story of a reunion with a dear friend, who came together after years apart, … shedding tears of joy and grief in the reunion since one of the two friends had been diagnosed with severe cancer.
And it was that way for Jesus when He wept (see John 11:35 - see photo) with His dear friends at the grave site of Lazarus. But Jesus also knew that He had come to that time of grief to show his dear friends that He, their friend Jesus, had the power over death as Jesus raised His friend Lazarus..
And my friends, I pray that all reading here with me believe that Jesus is not only our friend but He’s THE One Who will raise us from the dead, as our Lord promised He would for all who believe in Him as our Messiah. Yes, … Jesus is our friend Who wept over our sin and was raised from dead to save all who believe on Him as The Christ.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, …for being the Friend Who will raise me from death to be with You forever.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to to be You, Lord, forever. … AMEN
