My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Tim Gustafson  AT THIS LINK related a story about an enterprising engineer, name Cesar, who, much like the biblical story of Job, lost all he owned to a radical government and rather than wallowing in self pity, simply  started over .

Personally, I’ve always been convicted by the witness and the account of Job in God’s word.  He lost everything …. EVERYTHING; …  and yet this servant of God was able to worship his God.  Could you and I do that?  Oh, how I pray so!!

PS:  Every year on Dec 31st, my computer reminds me to read a poem by Woodrow Kroll, entitled Start Over!.  Well, it’s not 12/31; but you can still read the poem … AT THIS LINK    ….

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for being there for me … ALWAYS!

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to trust in You, Lord, to lift us up when we encounter the troubles of life.
