My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Elisa Morgan  … AT THIS LINK       … told of how she had a pain in her ring finger and and then the pain extended into the “pinky” finger on the same hand.  Consulting her MD, she was told that the pain in her small finger was a “sympathy pain” from nerves connecting the the two adjoining fingers.

And the ODB author felt the sympathy pain she experience was an apt illustration of what happens in the body of Christ when God’s people form unified body to work TOGETHER to live for and serve our Lord.  I’ve taken in the linked song and hav searched out and meditated on God’s word shared above; and I’m totally surrendered to do all I can to be part of a unified Body of Christ.   Are you? 

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … Lord … for allowing me to be a part of Your body.  

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, Lord. … for bringing Your Church TOGETHER to serve you as one body.   … Amen
