My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Karen Pimpo …  USE THS LNK  -      …  wrote about explorer, Percy Fawcett, writing a letter to his wife in 1925, just before he set out in Brazil with a team of explorers to find a reported “lost city,” which turned out to be Percy’s last exploratory journey.   And the ODB author used Percy’s story to illustrate how many, if not most, of us have quests we have in life to find dreams or desires which we will never find.  

The point is … that the only search worth our life’s effort is seeking to find and know Jesus as Lord and Savior.  And if my readers have taken in the linked song and meditated on the Scriptures I’ve shared from God’s word above, I pray, as Jesus Himself prayed (in John 17), that our life quest should be to know Jesus as Lord.  He’s the only way to go in life.  I  know it; and I seek to know Him more thru His word (see photo) ... EVERY DAY. …  Are you with me? 

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You …Lord, … for calling me to know You more thru Your word today … and tomorrow.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … for shining Your light on the way to know You, Lord, … thru Your word. … Amen
