My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Matt Lucas … SEE THS LNK - … wrote about a young 2nd century pagan, who asked a declared Christian leader in those days why the number of people surrendering to follow Jesus was growing so rapidly; … to which the Christians leader responded, “Do you not see that the more of them are punished, the greater becomes the number of the rest? This does not seem to be the work of man: this is the power of God.”
Oh, … how I’m praying that all who might take in the linked song and read what I’m sharing today, might read and heed the repetitive call of God’s Spirit empowered “GOOD NEWS,” by Jesus, to “GO” and share God’s Good News of salvation and sanctification (i.e., God’s Great Commission) with any and all we encounter who need God’s love and His saving grace. And of course, that’s everyone and anyone, isn’t it? And that’s certainly my calling. How about you?
My Thanksgiving:… Oh, King Jesus, thank You, …for caring enough abut me to call me to be an ambassador of Your good news to those You send me to share Your good news and teach of Your truth.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... thank You, Lord, for calling those who need Your love and grace to be Your children. … Amen
