My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, James Banks, AT THIS LINK writes of a mother telling her 3 YO that they were off on their vacation, … to which the child precociously responded, “I’m not going on vacation. I’m going on a mission!”
Out of the mouth of a babe - the wisdom of Moses or the Apostle Paul (see Scriptures above), … the child wisely declaring what should be the mission of all truly born-again believers … to live and serve God in ALL we do.
So, the question immediately calls to us from the linked song and these exhortations from God’s word above, … ARE WE? … Yes, are we living lives worthy of our calling as Christians (see Eph. 4:1 and Col. 3:17), serving God and doing ALL we do in His Name and for His glory? Personally, I think we can all do more to serve our Lord as His body, don’tcha think?!
