My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Linda Washington, AT THIS LINK - https://odb.org/2020/08/27/rescue-the-weak - uses the true example of Nicholas Winston, in1938, reaching out to help Jewish children get to safety in Britain, saving their lives when he saw them in orphanages in Czechoslovakia just prior to WW2.
This story, and the Scriptures above, most certainly call us - STRONGLY - to do anything we can, within the scope of our abilities and resources, to help others when we see the need and, as Matthew West sings, “DO SOMETHING.”
