Have any of you, who read with me here, experienced the grace of God, watching over you as a mother bird might spread its wings to protect its young (like the mother bird in the photo)   I sure have!!  … Early after I surrendered my atheist past to follow Christ, His church took me under its wings and showered me with God’s love. discipling me to grow and become stronger thru God’s word.  Oh, how I pray you have - and are - experiencing God’s protection and His enabling grace. My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Sheridan Voysey… AT THIS LINK … Writes about how we, in this digital age, are often given the opportunity to rate the performance of others who have served us (see photo).  And often, by cell phone or computer, we make these judgments without knowing the life context of what the servant was confronting as he/she was providing the service.      

Jesus, during His earthly ministry, often confronted situations where the world would have walked on by; but He, being God, showed mercy and compassion by healing the hurting and rebuilding the broken.  Today’s ODB entry is calling me (and all of us) to live, in this digital age, like Christ when we see others who need Godly compassion.  Oh, how I pray we meet that call to judge others with Christlike love and mercy and grace today.

My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Lisa M Samoa  … AT THIS LINK …   Tells of a rare Chinese bowl, bought at a garage sale for $35, was later recognized as a precious antique and sold at auction for over $700,000 (See photo).   

This was an illustration of how the value of Jesus, being The Cornerstone of Christ’s Church, has, over centuries, been overlooked and rejected by so many, who, if they had seen Christ’s value as God’s Cornerstone, would see that our Lord’s worth is WAY MORE precious that anything we might value here on earth.  Oh … how I pray that all reading here have made Jesus to be THE CORNERSTONE of our faith.  Because if we have seen Christ’s true value and surrendered to build our lives on God’s Cornerstone, we will build our eternal future on the Rock of Ages (see linked song).
