My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Kirsten Holmberg … AT THIS LINK  tells of finding a "perfect gift" for her mother-in-law’s birthday, … an elegant necklace with a birthstone pendant (see photo of necklace).

But the ODB author used this “perfect gift” to illustrate a far greater gift imparted by our Savior to those who believe in Him and surrender to all God’s Spirit can - and will - bring to God’s chosen children, … i.e., God’s gift of peace.  And those of us who know Christ as Lord will prayerfully realize that we can have God’s perfect gift of peace by surrendering our spirit to receive the peace of God by focusing on and following His way, … primarily through God’s word.

And I pray that all, who read with me here, have received God’s perfect gift of peace and are following our Lord, in obedience to God’s word (see Scriptures above)  Life can - AND WILL - be so much more peaceful if we receive the gift of God’s peace rather than trying to go it on our own.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your peace

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to humble ourselves to receive the gift of Your peace thru Your Spirit, Lord.   … Amen
