Reference Passage: … 1Timothy 3:5 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK …

For if a man cannot manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s church?

… Paul teaches Timothy (and all Christians) about Gods’ priorities for Christians who desire to live a Godly life, especially in leading others in God’s church.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Adam Holz … AT THIS LINK …   writes about checking off his day with his “To Do” list and being convicted that “pray” was number 18 on the list.

And long ago I learned from a mentor, who told me that he could tell whether I was seeking and following God’s will by looking at my calendar and my check book.  And if one were to look at how you, my readers, manage your “to do” list (see photo) and your spending, … would these data reflect your seeking and following God’s will and His ways.”

Personally, even tho I seek TO DO what is sung in the linked song and to follow God’s call for me to seek His ways first (see Scriptures above) I still have some way to go to follow God’s will rather than my own.  How about you?

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling me to follow You above my own desires and the world’s temptations.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to put You, Lord, above my own desires or the pressures from the world.   … Amen
