Reference Passage: … 1Corinthians 10:13 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK …

13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.

… Paull also assures Christians that nothing in life, which tempts or tries them (us), is stronger than God’s protective care.  NOTE:  The word “temptations” can also be translated “tests, trials, troubles, or tribulations”

My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Lisa M Samoa -  AT THIS LINK -  quotes the character Marmee in the book and movie, “Little Women,” with Marmee telling her daughters, …“Troubles and temptations . . . may be many, but you can overcome and outlive them all if you learn to feel the strength and tenderness of your heavenly Father.”

And Marmee’s loving advice to her daughters, the “Little Women,” in the movie rings true with God’s word, especially if my readers have taken in and meditated on the Reference Scriptures provided above.  We are all going to find times when we feel weak or vulnerable in our lives.  Well, that’s when we need to run to the “name” (i.e., character) of God as He (as in the photo) will extend his wings of protection to cover us with His loving strength and care.  And I’m running to Him in prayer today; … how about you?

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your empowering and protective grace today.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to run to You today, Lord, and anytime we need Your protection. … Amen
