My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Winn Collier …  USE THIS LINK       … related a story about Joseph, a young - new Christians - who desired to go to his new church on Sundays but he worked as a server in a restaurant which required him to work on Sundays.  So, he prayed for almost a year, until the young man found a job requiring only weekdays.

And that kind of patience and faith is what is called for by God through His word (as shared above) to develop stronger faith and Christlike character in order to serve God.  I personally identify with the need to develop more patience and reliance on God’s strength as Christy Nockels sings in the linked song.   But in my 80s, I will continue to seek God’s enabling grace, … day-by-day,… to follow my Lord … where HE leads me.   Are you with me?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You …Lord, … for giving me Your enabling grace to follow Your way in life.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, for giving us Your strength to follow You, Lord, rather than taking our own path in life.     … Amen
