My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Matt Lucas … USE THIS LINK … related an incident with the ODB author’s daughter asked to go to “the lake” with her friends at a time when the author was preoccupied with a plumbing task. And when he said “no” to his daughter, she remind him that he had promised her earlier that she could go to the lake with her friends. So, remembering his promises, he relented and said, “Yes” to his daughter.
The incident reminded Matt Lucas, the ODB author today, of how often God’s people get preoccupied with the circumstances of life and we forget to go to God in prayer, asking for what He has promised. If our God has promised us something, especially if its recorded in His word, He will do it! … Done deal. Book it!! …FOREVER!
My Thanksgiving:… Oh, King Jesus, thank You …Lord, … for being Your promise-keeping Self … ALWAYS!
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … for hearing our prayers and ALWAYS answering for Your promises … Amen
