My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Amy Boucher Pie …  USE THIS LINK       … relates a tragic, but true, story of Mary Edwar and her husband leaving their church in Jerusalem on a Palm Sunday morning and a bomb going off, killing Mary’s husband and causing Mary, who was pregnant, to lose her baby.  Following the tragedy, Mary was able to calm her anger by reading and taking in God’s word which showed her that God’s ways, at times are difficult, if not impossible, for us to understand; but God’s ways are always the right way to go. 

For my readers, … I may never encounter a tragic set of circumstances, like Mary Edwar had to deal with.   However, I realize that seeking and following God’s ways for my life can be difficult to grasp; …   but I agree with Phil Wickham’s song, linked above, that following Jesus’ way is THE ONLY way to go in life; and that is the way I choose to go again today.  How about you? 

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You …Lord, … for showing me THE way to go, … Your way …clearly shown thru Your “GPS” … i.e., Your word.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, for showing us the way to go again today thru Your word… Amen
