My Devotional Journal: Today's ODB author, Peter Chin, uses an example of the true worth of an early computer made by the the Apple founder, Steve Jobs and his Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, to illustrate our worth, as originals, made by God. … The ODB author wrote: In 2015, a woman discarded her deceased husband’s computer at a recycling center—a computer that had been made in 1976. But more important than when it had been made was who made it. It was one of 200 computers hand built by Apple founder Steve Jobs, [see photo along with Apple Co-Founder, Steve Wozniak], and was worth an estimated quarter of a million dollars! Sometimes knowing the true worth of something means knowing who made it.
if my readers have taken in the linked Chris Tomlin song, the ODB quote, and meditated on the Scriptures above, I pray we all realize what is in the chorus of the song as well as repeated in the highlight passage in all 26 verses of Psalm 136; … and that is … that God’s love and mercy endures forever … yes, everyday (Lam. 3:22-23) by our faithful Father God, Who is our creator (see Ps. 139) and our King Jesus.
Can I get a strong witness of praise … perhaps a robust and meaningful ”HALLELUJAH!” ? Our God certainly deserves it, don’tcha think?
