My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Glenn Packham … AT THIS LINK … tells of an illustration where he, preaching a sermon, had an artist creating a beautiful painting on the pulpit stage with him. And, right in the middle of the painting, he went over and grabbed a brush and slashed a large white line across the painting, seemingly destroying the work of art. But the artist calmly picked up her brushes and turned the destruction into a new, redeemed, and beautiful work of art.
And the ODB illustration is a good one to illustrate how our Lord, King Jesus, was able to fulfill the prophesies of old (see Isaiah scriptures above), and redeem mankind from our sin by shedding His blood on the cross (see Reference Scriptures).
And I pray today that all reading with me could share our gratitude for Christ’s blood, which has redeemed all who would believe on what our Lord did for us on the cross. Yes, my fellow Christians, share with me a robust - ”HALLELUJAH” - for what our King Jesus did to redeem us from our sin by dying on that tree [see photo].
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for redeeming me from my sin and restoring me with Your saving and sanctifying grace.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … in gratitude for what you did for us, Lord, by shedding Your blood on the cross to redeem us from destruction. Amen
