My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Xochitl Dixon … AT THIS LINK … used a story of a sheep in Australia who had become separated from the herd and was over-burdened by excess wool, becoming healthy when sheered and delivered from the heavy wool (see photo)..
And the ODB story is an apt illustration of how we can become burdened by weight of life circumstances or our sin nature. Perhaps some of my readers can identify and like King David in the Psalms, posted above, would sing - or pray - for deliverance from God.
I’m there right now. How about you? Well, if so, take in the linked song and meditate on God’s promises, thru His word above; … and know that our God will be our deliverer if we humble ourselves to seek after His love, mercy, and grace.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for ALWAYS being my deliverer.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to come to You today, Lord, seeking Your enabling grace to deliver us from our burdens. Amen
