My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Tom Felten … AT THIS LINK   tells of the building of the Brooklyn Bridge (see photo), which, in the 19th century was considered the 8th wonder of the world, … where individual rocks and cables were assembled into the magnificent bridge crossing the Hudson river in New York.

But no structure built by man can compare to the wondrous work done by our God, …Who humbly came in a manger in Bethlehem (hear the song, “Heaven’s Chid” above) to become the Savior God (hear “How Great Thou Art” above) Who saved mankind from our own sin.

So, I’m praying - as we move into this New Year - that we can set aside our past baggage and our failings to look forward with the hope and greatness we have in our relationship with Christ… to become more - day-by-day - of what our Lord has created us to become.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for placing Your eternal greatness in all who believe on You as Lord and Savior.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to move forward, with Your Spirit, Lord, enabling us to be all You are building us to become.         Amen
