… Jesus warns His disciples that HE was the ONLY REAL way to God, the Father.

…The Apostle Paul taught fellow Christians to follow the real Christ and avoid false teachers.

… Peter warns fellow Christians against being duped to follow heresies which distract them from from follow the real Jesus.

1 Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.

My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Jennifer Benson Schuldt … AT THIS LINK …   tells of a friend who attended a book club and realized, during the initial session, that she had been misled to read the wrong book.      

And the ODB author used this illustration to being a warning to all who claim to follow Jesus … to make sure that we avoid false teachers and preachers in this world who are literally “hell-bent” on leading others to follow a false “jesus” 

 And by taking in the linked song; and meditating on the Scriptures above, I pray that all reading with me here are well equipped, … thru being well-versed in God’s word, … to be able to test and discern the false teachers in this world, … and they are many, … and to be able to follow the real-deal King Jesus, … our true Lord an Savior, … the Christ of the Bible.     

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for showing me how to follow You, Lord, …  every day thru Your word.              

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to follow the true Jesus thru the truth of Your word, Lord.   Amen
