My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Monica La Rose … AT THIS LINK    teaches readers about the Psalms of Ascent (i.e., Psalms 120-134), which were included in God’s song book (i.e., The Psalms) for Jewish pilgrims traveling up to Jerusalem for the various feasts God had called them to celebrate in their relationship with God and to find new ways to travel in life.

As we Christians are pilgrims in this life, we seek after new ways … new beginnings, … don’t we?   Most, if not all of us, desire to cast off our own selfish and sinful ways and find new ways - God’s ways - of living out this life.  I sure do; and I would guess most - if not all - of my readers do as well.

Well, if you have taken in the wonderful and powerful linked song, sung by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, and you’ve meditated on the Scriptures above, God shows us how to find that NEW start and the NEW way He wants us to go in life; and that is to follow His will and His way thru His word. … And that’s where I’m headed today … and will be tomorrow!   How about you?

My THANKFULNESS:... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for showing me THE WAY to go today and tomorrow.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to follow Your way, Lord, thru Your word, …  and to trust that You will lead us to the new start we seek today and then again tomorrow.     Amen
