My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Karen Huang … AT THIS LINK …   tells of a friend, Ruel, being at a reunion held at a palatial estate of one of his classmates, and Ruel’s natural envy of the wealth on display at the estate.  But then Ruel, who had been a minister to remote fellow Christians in the Philippians, remembered the genuine values of those who had come to know Christ thru his ministry and the overwhelming contentment he had from knowing God and serving Him in ministry.  

And if my readers have taken in the linked song and meditated on the Scriptures above, I’m praying we all thankfully recognize that we get our real value in this life by pursuing a deep and abiding relationship with the Lord and knowing that He provides us with all that we need in life, which comes from His kingdom riches.                

My THANKFULNESS:... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … providing me with all I need in this life.        

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to thankfully recognize, Lord, that You provide us with all we need in life, preparing us for Your eternal kingdom.  …     Amen
