My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Winn Collier … AT THIS LINK … tells of the deep and lasting love, which 19th century poet and artist, William Blake, had for his wife during their 45 years of marriage, … sketching her face - lovingly (see photo) - as his health failed in his last week of life.
But even the love William Blake shared with his wife, Katherine, cannot match the intensity and fire which God shares with His chosen family, … which is expressed in the linked song and the Scriptures shared above. And God’s love calls us out, doesn’t it, … to do all we can to share His love - maybe even today - as we die to self and we reach out to love others, prayerfully with at least some of the Intensity of God’’s love for us?
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for loving me so that I can share Your love with others, maybe even in my words here today.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to do all we can - even today - to share Your intense love, Lord, with others … Amen
