My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Kenneth Peterson - AT THIS LINK wrote about a quote from Carl Sagan, who, in viewingt he first images from the James Webb telescope in July of 2022, … the Carina Nebula (see photo), saying, “Somewhere, something incredible is waiting.”
And Sagan was right, even as he was wrong. True: … Humanity is looking forward to something wonderful which is coming, which is revealed in creation all around us, as the linked song declares. However, Carl Sagan, and any other “atheist,” sees the wonder of creation without seeing that it declares as the glory of God. I see the latter in the skies as revealed by the James Webb telescope or by simply holding out and seeing my own hand.
Fellow Christian … hold out your hand as you gaze into the night stars; … what do you see? I’m praying we all see God’s glory! But the glory yet to come is even more wonderful to contemplate.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for revealing Yourself to me as I look around me in Your creation.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me today, … to look into Your creation, Lord, and to see Your handiwork everywhere. … Amen
