My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Karen Huang -  AT THIS LINK  -  Journaled about being called by her “boss” to carry on a radio broadcast at an international book expo but feeling inadequate to the task.  But she was assured by that “boss” that she was well equipped to to do the job.  So, the ODB author prayed to God for help; and He provided all she needed to complete the task.

And the ODB author also referred to the Biblical story (see Highlight passage) of God calling craftsman to build His tabernacle as God was leading His people thru the wilderness to the Promised Land.  Years ago, which I was being discipled by a mentor, as a newly committed Christian, he used to say, “God’s calling is His enablement.,” which is supported by the Scriptures above to show us that if/when God calls us to worship Him by carrying out a task, He will enable us with His empowering grace to worship Him by doing what He calls us to do.

And that is my prayer for all who read with me here today.  If we feel God calling us to move forward to carry out a task, HE, …(our God) … will enable us with His grace to complete the task for His glory.  So, my friend, … LET”S GET TO IT!

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your empowering grace today to serve Your calling.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me today, … to trust that You, Lord, will give us Your enablement to carry on what You’ve called us to do for Your glory. .     … Amen
