My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Arthur Jackson  … AT THIS LINK      … Related how John Stroup, the author of the book From the Pit To the Pulpit, tells of finding strength to overcome past addictions and character flaws by reading and applying what he learned from the Bible. And that led the Author of the ODB entry today to uncover and share the biblical truths in the Scriptures below to help any/all Christians to rely on God’s strength to overcome our fears and weaknesses.

And to my fellow Christian readers, i’m also one who was able to overcome many past weaknesses by learning and applying the truths found in God’s word and trusting in the Lord’s strength when I need it in my life.  I’m stopping to pray - right now - that you will join me in relying on God’s strength when we’re feeling weak, … which is right now for me.   How about you?     

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … Lord … for giving me Your enabling grace to lift me up in times of weakness.  

 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … Lord. … for ALWAYS being there with Your strength when we are weak.  … Amen
