My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author, Elisa Morgan  …  USE THS LNK  -        writes about social researchers in the 1970s writing about a very common condition they called “the imposter syndrome,”, which involved those who doubted themselves, thinking that if people really knew them, they would consider themselves to be frauds.

Yes, as today’s linked song says, we should ALWAYS be humble and kind to one another.  But we, who declare ourselves to be “Christians,” should also realize that God has gifted us in special ways, as described in the Scriptures above, to serve Him in special and individual ways.  We Christians are not IMPOSTERS.  We’re the “real deal;” and we’re here to serve our King with the gifts HE has given us to do so.  That’s what I plan to do today and on into the tomorrows He gives me.  How about you?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, …for giving me gifts of teaching and encouragement to serve You by lifting others up and sharing Your truths with them.

My Prayer TodayOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... for gifting us, Your children, to serve You.  … Amen
