My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Mike Wittmer  …  USE THS LNK  -      …  writes about a young man, named Mario, who was jailed as an alcoholic and drug addict, … whom the Judge at his sentencing called him … “a waist of a human life.” …  But Mario, while in prison found a new relationship with Christ, and began writing and getting schooled in journalism, … ultimately becoming a journalist for The New York Times after being released from prison.

And the ODB entry today, as well as the Scriptures compiled and shared above, tell us God’s truth, … that our surrender to follow Christ redeems and frees us to be slaves to follow Christ rather than being chained by our desires to follow the flesh.  I’m one of those who has been, as Big Daddy Weave sings in the linked song,  ,,, REDEEMED … to walk in freedom from the chains of my flesh.  How about you? 

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, …for leading me to walk in Your freedom. 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... You have broken our chains and showed us how to walk in Your freedom. … Amen
