… God speaks to His people, thru Jeremiah, rebuking them for not  waiting on Hims and worshipping idols of their own making.

My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Tom Felton  …  USE THS LNK  -       …  relates a story about a young woman who took a DNA test which led to the revelation of a long lost uncle across the country who had been kidnapped from a park at age 6, seventy years earlier; but was finally reunited with his biological family through the DNA test.

Seventy years; … a long time to wait; but it’s same time that God’s people had to wait in captivity in Babylon as described by Jeremiah in the Highlight passage, when God’s people had to wait on God’s promise of deliverance for 70 years.  And when we’re willing to trust and wait on God (as in the Scriptures above), God’s promise of deliverance and salvation awaits us.  So, … I’m waiting on Him to come again!  How about you?

My Thanksgiving:… Oh, King Jesus, thank You, …for Your word which gives me hope as I wait on You. 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... You lift us up with hope, Lord, as we wait on Your return. … Amen
