…   God shows up to give us His strength in the midst of our fire storms.

My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Jennifer Benson Schuldt, AT THIS LINK uses a story of a type of tree surviving a wildfire in Spain [see photo] to illustrate that God gives Christians special strength, … yes, even in the wildfires of life.  

And the seeming miracle that allowed one type of tree to survive the Spanish wildfire reminded the ODB author of the story of how God walked with the three Jewish boys in the midst of the fire into which the Babylonian king had them thrown (see highlight passage). 

And that passage in Daniel 3, along with meditating on the reference passages and hearing the linked song, should lift us up in the midst of the fire-storm of this Covid-19 pandemic we’re facing now.  Because if we truly believe in God’s truths copied/linked above, we’ll know, as Steven Curtis Chapman sings, that God will provide us with His strength to make it thru this firestorm of life.   

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for giving us Your strength as we have been thrown into this firestorm of virus and human confusion. 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray that all reading here will join me to thank God for giving us His empowering grace to deal with the firestorms of life. … Amen
