My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Xochitl Dixon, AT THIS LINK writes about young people learning to trust their harness while they face their fears by rock climbing.
We all have times in our lives when we have to face our fears, don’t we? Maybe some of my readers are facing them now as we climb this Covid-19 rock wall that is so confusing and fearful ahead of us. But just as the kids in the photo have to learn to trust their harness in climbing their fearful rock wall, we have to be willing to trust our Lord … ALWAYS being there for us.
God’s word <b>(see above)</b> declares that with our God NOTHING is impossible; and that God will always be there for us when we’re feeling fearful or weak. But do we believe His word? I pray we can sing along with David Crowder in the linked song and face today - and tomorrow - because our Lord lives!
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for giving us the faith and confidence to face any rock wall in life.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray that all reading here will join me to climb any rock wall of fear we might face … today or tomorrow … with our faith harnessed to Your grace, Lord. … Amen
