Berry Patch Devotions in 2021 - Day 253

Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...  Please take the time to take in song and lyrics from the group Vineyard Worship singing … You’re Always With Us … poignantly singing of our God always being with those who truly believe and surrender to receive His grace.

Highlight Passage: …  Esther 9:23 [NLT] …

22 He told them to celebrate these days with feasting and gladness and by giving gifts of food to each other and presents to the poor. This would commemorate a time when the Jews gained relief from their enemies, when their sorrow was turned into gladness and their mourning into joy.

God, thru Mordecai, establishes the annual “Feast of Purim” to celebrate God’s deliverance of the Jews and the Lord’s constant presence in the lives of true believers.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Tim Gustafson … AT THIS LINK showed how Emperor Constantine, in the 3rd century AD, changed the Roman calendar, which is still used to this date worldwide, to declare the constant and eternal presence and rule of God.

And then the ODB author makes reference to how God established a yearly reminder (i.e., the Feast of Purim) for God’s chose people to annually celebrate God’s willingness to live up to the Lord’s protection and deliverance of His chosen peoples.  And that promise was completely fulfilled in the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord, King Jesus, … promised and fulfilled iin the Reference Scriptures above.

And can I sense my readers, joining me in a robust ”HALLELUJAH;” … to declare our affirmation of belief that our God is ever present and always powerful to show His protective love and sanctifying grace for us … as His disciples.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for Your ever present love and protective grace.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, …  to praise You, King Jesus, for Your ever present love and empowering grace.   .… Amen
