My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Bill Crowder … AT THIS LINK  Tells of the leader of an African nation who had established a delicate balance of peace with Israel and other enemies of Israel, who, when asked how the leader’s country had done that, said,  “We choose our friends. We do not encourage our friends to choose our enemies [for us].”

It’s difficult to find - and maintain - peace with others in this contentious and sin-darkened world, isn’t it?  But that’s what our God, thru many sources in His word, demands, doesn’t He?</b>.  And from the few biblical sources brought out in the Scriptures above, God gives his call for peace and His prescription to find and maintain that peace in our lives and in this world.

Oh how I pray that we, as disciples of Christ, are doing all we can to be God’s peacemakers in our personal and interpersonal world.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your Spirit and Your word to help me be a Christlike disciple of peace. .

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to reach out as peacemakers for Your glory today, Lord. …  Amen
