My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Mike Wittmer … AT THIS LINK … writes of the main character in Frederic Brown’s short story, entitled, “Knock,” who felt he was the last person alive, and who became fearful when, feeling alone in a room, heard a knock on his door, … realizing that he was not really alone.

And those of us who know Christ as our Lord and Savior, may be fearful of feeling alone at times in this very dark world.  However, we Christians can - AND SHOULD - realize that we’re never alone, … are we?

And if you’ve taken in the linked song and meditated on the Scriptures above, you must know, … as a disciple of Christ, … we are never alone.  Because as Jesus wrote to those who follow Him as Lord in faith (see highlight passage), … Jesus is always there, knocking on the doors of our hearts, as faithful believers, to come in and walk with us; … yes, even thru the valley of the shadow of death (see Psalm 23:4).

So, let’s open the door of our hearts and let our Savior in today and walk with Him as He leads us to glory.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for walking with me again today, my Lord.       .

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to let you, Lord, into our hearts to walk with us today and tomorrow.    Amen               .
