My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Karen Patton… AT THIS LINK …   writes of a family being comforted by discovering Scripture passages written on the door frames of their home which was being restored after a horrible flood in Louisiana in 2016.  .      

And if my readers have taken in Jeremy Camp’s linked song; and you all believe, as I do, in God’s truth from His word above, … then we all are comforted by the reality that following God’s word gives us comfort in God’s promises and the power of God’s enabling grace to lead us in life with His truth.  

SO, … that’s why you find me here everyday, with the help of Our Daily Bread and God’s word, to begin my day by showering my mind and heart with God’s truth, … comforted by the reality of God’s word to lead me EVERY DAY of my life.   And I pray that all reading here with me find that same comfort and hope from Gold’s word as we live our lives, doing all we can to serve our Lord.                                            

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your word as Your “GPS,”  … leading me in the way I should go today … and tomorrow.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to follow Your word, Lord, which shines Your light on our path every day. …  Amen
