… God, thru Solomon, shows His people (and us) that we must trust Him to be able to worship and follow the Lord by the way we live for our Lord. .

Reference Passage: … Isaiah 26:3 [NLT] …

You (LORD] will keep in perfect peace ALL who trust in you, … ALL whose thoughts are fixed on You.

… Jesus promises His inner Disciples that they will find peace in the midst of the trials of this world because He (on the cross) would overcome the world.

Reference Passage: … Philippians 4:11-13 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK …

… The Apostle Paul shows fellow Christians that they, like him, will find contentment and strength in their (our) trusting relationship with Christ.

Reference Passage: … Hebrews 4:1-3 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK …

… The Author of Hebrews quotes from King David in Ps 95 that our God promises rest for His people in their [our] faith in the Messiah.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Marvin Williams … AT THIS LINKtells of a prominent Country-Western singer who was quoted as saying, “There’s a restlessness in my soul that I’ve never conquered, not with motion, marriages or meaning;” and ultimately lived out his life feeling that kind of anguish.

And sadly many TOO many people live lives in quiet desperation, when they (we) can find rest and strength to deal with the circumstances of life by trusting in and focusing on our faith in Jesus’ promise to give us His strength when we rest in our faith in Him.

And oh how I pray that all who read with me here are finding out contentment and peace as did King David, Solomon, and Isaiah in the OT <,b>(see Scriptures above), and the Apostle Paul in the NT, …through their trusting relationship in the Lord to give them His strength and peace when they (we) find ourselves overwhelmed by the struggles of life.

And if you’re feeling that way now, go rest in God’s strength and His invitation to yoke ourselves to Him. He ALWAYS has the strength we need, … doesn’t He?

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for being there for me when I need You, Lord.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to rest in Your love and grace, Lord, … today and tomorrow. … Amen
