My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author -  Anne Cetas  AT THIS LINK   … the ODB author told of how a friend, named Joe, who had his children all around a breakfast table one morning and Joe asked them, … “If Jesus were physically seated at the table with us this morning, what would you want to ask Him?”Joe’s boys all wanted to ask some hard math or science questions; but Joe’s daughter said, … “I would ask Him for a hug.”

And I believe, if my readers today have taken in the linked songs by Don Moen and meditated on the Scriptures I’ve provided above, … perhaps we all might lean, with Joe’s daughter’s reply, … don’cha think?  Well, I’d sure like to revert to the heart of a child, humbling myself more than I usually do, to just be with - and maybe get a hug from - our Lord today.  How about you?  I know God’s Spirit is just waiting for all of us to be like those kids in the photo, … who just want a big hug from the Lord.  And if you know what Jesus said (on your own look up Rev. 3:20), Jesus is just knocking on the door of our hearts every day; … BUT … will we let Him in?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You , Lord, … once again … for calling me to jump in Your lap today for a big hug.

My Prayer TodaOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to humble ourselves and receive a hug of Your love today, Lord.   … Amen
