My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author -  Xochitl Dixon … AT THIS LINK  -   The ODB author, Xochitl Dixon, remembered a time past when her church leaders called on the congregation to give to build a gymnasium which would be an outreach to their neighborhood; and the ODB author felt it would be a challenge for her and her family to give at that time due to some health challenges she was facing.  And she asked her husband whether they could give a that time, … to which he replied,  “We’re not giving God anything that’s not already His; …He’ll provide all we need.” And as, the ODB author replied … HE DID!  

Calling on my readers; … are there any challenges for your giving right now that calls on you to give more generously or sacrificially right now?  If so, please take in - and be uplifted by - the linked song and the Scriptures above where God is calling, … no, rather commanding, us Christians to give cheerfully and generously to help those in need or to honor God for His mercy and generosity to His faithful.  I’m certainly challenged by today’s devotional; … how about you?
