My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Sheridan Voysey … USE THIS LINK … writing in today’s ODB entry, related how, a young performance artist, named Michael Landy, did an inventory of everything he own, … coming up with over 7000 items. And Landy took all of those items and put them in a warehouse in a busy business district of London, destroying all he owned in a grinder, telling all, “Who are we without our possessions?”
It’s a good question for all of us, isn’t it? And it’s certainly the point made by the ODB entry highlighted today as well in the linked song and all of God’s truth shared above. God’s word highlights the truth that we, His children, were created (as our identity) to serve the Lord and reflect His light with all we do into this very darkened world. And I, personally want my life (i.e., identity) to do just that TODAY, and tomorrow too! Will you join me in that desire?
My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You …Lord, … thank You, for making me over to shine Your light into the darkened world today.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … for calling all of us, who are Your children, to be Your light, shining in this dark world. … Amen
