15 Then Jeremiah the prophet said to Hananiah, “Listen, Hananiah! The Lord has not sent you, but the people believe your lies. 16 Therefore, this is what the Lord says: ‘You must die. Your life will end this very year because you have rebelled against the Lord.’”    

…God’s true prophet, Jeremiah, confronts Hananiah, a false Prophet who dies because of his lies.

My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Tim Gustafson  … AT THIS LINK …   wrote of a prophetic sports journalist, Hugh Fullerton, who wrote about the World Series scandals in 1919 and was ridiculed by many.  But, soon thereafter Fullerton was revealed to have uncovered the truth about those infamous scandals.  

Back in the days of Jeremiah, one of God’s true Prophets, Jeremiah was challenged by a false prophet, Hananiah (see Highlight passage); but God’s truth always wins out in the end for God’s will and HIs ways.  And that’s why, when my readers take in linked song and the Scriptures above, we, who believe in Jesus as THE WAY …  and the ONLY WAY … to heaven, … must surrender to the truth of knowing Jesus as He, Himself, declared Himself to be … THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE; and that is my prayer for all reading with me here today … that we follow Him in faith all the way to glory!               

My THANKFULNESS:: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for showing me THE WAY to the Father by believing in You, Lord, as our Messiah.         

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to trust in and follow You, Lord, as the only way to Heaven.     … Amen
