My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Leslie Koh  … AT THIS LINK …  tells of a young boy, … Sean, … who lost his mother at a young age and was essentially abandoned by his father.  However, a neighbor couple reached out to Sean and became his faithful parent surrogates, giving the boy a sense of love and support and allowing Sean to grow into a confident and faithful follower of Christ.         

Chapter 11 in the Book of Hebrews in God’s word is often called God’s “Hall of Faith,” listing many faithful followers of The Messiah, … some named and others unnamed ,… but all who showed their faith by the way they lived for the Lord.  And the song and scriptures above call all Christians to reach out and to walk by faith, living for Christ by the way we follow our Lord.  So, today’s ODB entry calls me to live my life by following my Lord, shining HIs light in this dark world by the way I walk with and for Him.  Do you feel Him calling you to walk with Him faithfully today?
