My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Dave Brandon  AT THIS LINK …   described how a friend who was being evaluated by an oral-surgeon was asked by her doctor if she had any questions, which she answered by asking him a question about him going to church that previous Sunday.  This interchange led to a discussion about faith and ultimately to the Doctor receiving a bible as a gift from the woman.

The ODB entry today illustrates a strategy often used by Jesus as our Lord traveled about on His way to the cross and ministering to many who needed His healing; and that was to ask questions of those following Him - often questions with obvious answers - but yet soliciting answers about the faith of those in need of Jesus’ healing touch (see Scriptures above).

Perhaps we could ask questions of others which would lead to our witness and a discussion about Jesus sometime this week … maybe even today?  I pray we look for those opportunities to ask such questions; especially to give witness with our testimony about God’s Saving grace in our lives.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for promising me Your answers to all my questions.

My Prayer Today:   Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to reach out and ask questions about You to others as You give us opportunities to witness about You … maybe today?!       … Amen
