My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, James Banks  AT THIS LINKtold of President U.S. Grant, who was out swindled of his savings and diagnosed with incurable cancer; and out of fear for the financial well being of his family, trusted in Mark Twain to write his memoirs, which later were published and proved to take care of his family financially after his death.

In our lives we may face times when things seem overwhelmingly fearful.   But, … if we believe in the mercy and grace of God to watch over His beloved family, as the groups sing in the linked song and God’s word encourages in the Scriptures above, we can let our trust in God give us the faith to weather any fearful storms we may face.  So, … if any of my readers are in one of those fearful storms today, I pray what we simply turn our fears/feelings over to God’s mercy and trust in God’s grace to give us the strength to weather the storm.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your strength in my times of weakness, Lord.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to trust in Your mercy, grace, and goodness, Lord, in our times of trial.  … Amen
