My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Tim Gustafson AT THIS LINK relates a story of a friend, Tom, who was muted by a stroke; but when, after some rehab, he first spoke, his garbled speech as first in thankfulness and praise to God.
And that was reminiscent of what happened with the father of John the Baptist, was muted by God’s Angel until he learned of the miraculous impending birth of his baby son; and the first words out of Zechariah’s mouth were words of worship and praise to God.
In these days of viral challenges and human struggle, what are the words we have to share with others during this Advent season of joy? Are they words of selfish anguish; or are they, … as they should be, … words like those sung by Hillsong in the linked song, … loud words of praise to God? I pray we all will sing and express words of thankfulness and praise to others during this season where we all celebrate the coming of God’s Son and our Savior to save us all.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for coming for me. <b>Oh … HALLELUJAH!!
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray that all reading here will join me, to shout for joy that You, Lord, came as a babe to save mankind. … Amen
