Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...       Please take the time to take in song and lyrics from Kari Jobe singing … Everyone Needs A Little …  poignantly singing of how all of us need and can always use a little love and encouragement.

Competitors and teammates encourage one another in Christ ...

God, even thru Isaiah in the Old Testament, encourages His chosen ones when, especially when we’re down and out, with uplifting promises His strength to cover our weaknesses.

Reference Passage: … Matthew 11:28-30 [ESV] …

28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Jesus invites and encourages His disciples to yoke our troubles to His strength.

My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Xochitl Dixon, AT THIS LINK tells of two competing Christian quarterbacks for the NFL Philadelphia Eagles (see photo), encouraging one another to reflect - as best they could - Christlikeness with true teamwork.

And we know it’s difficult in this very competitive - “dog-eat-dog”- world to reflect what Christ would have us do ALWAYS, and that is to lift others up with encouragement, especially fellow Christians.  As Kari Job sings in the linked song, … we all need a little love and encouragement, don’t we?  So, I pray that we all find a way to encourage someone today, especially a fellow Christian who seems to need a little Christlike love to carry us thru these difficult times.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for giving me all of Your love and grace to share with others.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray that all reading here will join me, to do what we can to lift others up who need our encouragement today, … and then again tomorrow.   … Amen
