My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author -  Monica La Rose  … AT THIS LINK  -   reflects on the work of Julia Galef, whose research shows that we, humans, too often take the life position of being a warrior, defending ourselves and working to eliminate threats, rather than taking the posture of being a scout, who seeks to find and follow the truth.           

And Galef’s position reminded the ODB author of the writings of James, the human brother of Jesus, who called on fellow Christians to seek after God’s truth and His way in life, rather than taking, or defending, our own way.  That’s what the reference Scriptures above show us; … but will we become wise scouts and seek to follow God’s way in life?  Personally, that’s why I’m here again today, seeking God’s way by following my Lord thru His word.   … Are you with me?           

My Thanksgiving:… Oh, King Jesus, thank You , Lord, for showing me Your way, Lord, thru Your word.

 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to once again seek and follow Your way, Lord, rather than our own way.       …  Amen
