My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author -  Amy Boucher Pye … AT THIS LINK   … the ODB author relates a story about a friend, named Jeremy, who went through a deep and somewhat debilitating fear of a diagnosis of severe cancer by getting to know His Lord more deeply than he ever had before, … realizing that God was the only One Who could save Jeremy and give him the understanding to deal with the cancer.  

That’s the reality of the ODB entry today, as we Christians come to realize, understand, and believe that all God calls and demands from us to to know and reverence ONLY Him; … and from that fear of God, we gain Godly wisdom and a true understanding of God’ purpose for our lives.  To me that’s way more valuable than searching for anything else in this life.  Don’t you agree?         

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You , Lord, … once again … for giving me Your wisdom as I grow closer to You and as I know You as my Lord.      

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to seek to know our Lord more intimately every day and to gain His wisdom and understanding.   … Amen
