Making a "pinch pot" like the teacher's

My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author -  Karen Pimpo  … AT THIS LINK  -the ODB author today describes how hard it was for her to create a simple “pinch pot” (see photo), trying for several hours to do so to imitate the model from a professional artist and teacher.   And the author used her experience to illustrate how difficult it is to live Godly, … HOLY … lives, imitating our difficult - almost impossible - attempts to live holy lives, imitating the holiness of our Lord.  

It doesn’t take a rocket-scientist to see where God’s word is calling His people in today’s ODB entry, does it?  No, … we are called to live as God calls us to live, … doing all we can to live as Christ lived - being perfectly Holy and living a perfectly holy life.   And very likely we will have results which mirror the ODB author’s attempt to make a “pinch pot” like that of her instructor (again, see photo).  But I’ll keep trying to make my life look like that of my Savior!   How about you?             

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You , Lord, … once again … for faithfully … and perfectly … showing me how to follow Your example of live like You lived.     

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to use all we have to fashion our lives to live like You lived, dear Lord.   … Amen
