My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Leslie Koh, AT THIS LINK ... Tells of men searching for for a valuable lost watch (see photo) in vain.   Later the watch was found by a young boy; and when asked how he found it, the boy said, …  “I just sat down and kept quiet, and soon I could hear it ticking.”

And the ODB author was trying to show us that many times we miss out on God’s peace and His leading because we don’t just stop for a quiet time with God and listen for His Spirit to lead us.  Often we don’t trust that “His still small voice” (see 1Kings 19:12) is speaking to us to show us THE way … HIS WAY.

That’s why you find me here, starting each day, by quietly listening for God’s leading voice thru prayer and His word; and then by sharing what my Lord gives me here in these journal entries.  And I pray today, as I will again tomorrow, that we all have these quiet times with God to hear what He’s saying to us and where He’s leading us.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for giving me Your Spirit Who is leading me out of the noise of this world onto Your path to glory.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray that all reading here will join me, …to stop and listen for God’s quiet voice today, … leading us out of the noisy wilderness of this world and onto His road of truth.  … Amen
