My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, John Blasé, AT THIS LINK uses a description of a driver in a snowstorm trusting his headlights to guide him forward … as an illustration of seeking the light of Christ (see photo) to lead us out of the darkness of our sin nature by His light of truth.
Are any of my readers today, like me in these confusing Covid times, feeling confused where to go? Well, the ODB entry today gives us the light of God’s word, reinforced by the light from Jesus Himself (see Scriptures above) to be our light, leading us forward in the blinding storms of our times.
That’s why you find me here, every morning, using Christ’s bright light of truth to lead me forward out of the dark storms of life these days.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for shining Your light of truth to lead us forward.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray that all reading here will join me, …to use God’s light, His word, and trusting it to lead us out of our darkness with His light of truth. … Amen
